While more girls come in college today, they cannot also have opportunities that are equal complete and benefit from a training of these option. Biases, social norms and objectives influence the quality of the training they get while the subjects they study, particularly when it comes down to technology, technology, engineering and math (STEM) education.
Globally, just 35% of STEM pupils in advanced schooling are females and just 3% of females in advanced schooling choose information and interaction technologies (ICT) studies, based on UNESCO’s report that is global the code: Girls’ and women’s education in STEM.

What’s the landscape that is current of equality in technology, technology and innovation (STI) fields into the Latin American region?
